Terms and Conditions for Property / Item Hire

1. Definitions

• Owner: The person or entity renting out the property item.

• Renter: The person or entity renting the property item.

• Property Item: The item being rented, as described and booked through Rentler.com.au .

2. Agreement

• The Renter agrees to hire the Property Item from the Owner subject to these terms and conditions.

3. Duration of Hire

• The hire period shall commence on [Start Date] and end on [End Date] as booked through Rentler.com.au .

4. Payment

• The Renter shall pay the Owner the agreed hire fee of as per booking through Rentler.com.au .

5. Use of Property Item

• The Renter agrees to use the Property Item in a careful and proper manner.

• The Property Item shall not be used for any illegal purposes.

6. Maintenance and Repairs

• The Renter is responsible for maintaining the Property Item in good condition.

• Any damages or required repairs during the hire period shall be the responsibility of the Renter.

7. Return of Property Item

• The Renter shall return the Property Item to the Owner in the same condition as it was received, except for normal wear and tear, by the return date.

8. Liability

• The Renter agrees to indemnify the Owner against any loss or damage to the Property Item during the hire period.

• The Owner is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage suffered by the Renter or any third party as a result of using the Property Item.

9. Termination

• The Owner reserves the right to terminate this agreement immediately if the Renter breaches any of these terms and conditions.

10. Stipe

• The Renter agrees to pay for the rental through the website via the stripe platform.  In the event that the rental is cancelled by the Renter or the Owner there will be no refund of the transaction fees charged by stripe.

11. Governing Law

• This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia.
